Sketches of Crete

Damnoni Beach

Elefonsi Beach

White Mountains and the sea

Bloodlust

southern shards
from sudden stars
longing for
a tired silence
ghosts of goat's milk bells
tinkling below
olivehoney drips
a swallow dips
escaping thirsty hills
it sips chlorine and circles again
tasting nothing
the earth coughs up dust
and thousands of tiny bugs
affectionately see me as their next meal
for a brief moment i share in their bloodlust
i offer up my arm as a sacrifice
they gladly receive

Palm Beach

Some photo's of Palm Beach in Crete, after a forest fire.
